Home with Heart Design is not liable for any products damaged or lost during shipping. If you received your order damaged, please contact the shipment carrier to file a claim. Please save all packaging materials and damaged goods before filing a claim.

Pricing

We work to keep our pricing competitive. Home with Heart Design does not match, meet, or beat competitor prices.

Home with Heart Design offers limited price adjustments. If an item bought goes on sale within 5 days of purchase, customers can request a price adjustment. The request must be made while the item is currently marked down. Some items and sales are excluded. If free shipping was provided on the original order, then price adjustments will not be made. Price adjustments will not be made if the item was purchased on clearance or sale.

Shipping

Orders are processed in the order they are received. Orders with Standard Shipping typically take between 2-3 business days to be processed and shipped from our location in Chesapeake, VA.  We do not process or ship orders on Saturday or Sunday. Weekends and holidays are excluded from processing and shipping times, so please account for non-business days when choosing your shipping method. You will receive an email with tracking information when your order has been shipped.

We use UPS and USPS as our preferred shipping carriers for domestic orders. We cannot deliver to P.O. Boxes. Home with Heart Design ships to all 48 contiguous U.S. states and follows the standard shipping methods available by USPS and UPS. We currently do not ship outside the U.S.

If we are experiencing a high volume of orders, shipments may be delayed by a few days. Please allow additional days in transit for delivery. If there will be a significant delay in shipment of your order, we will contact you via email or telephone.

Cancellation Policy

You may cancel an order prior to the item being shipped. Orders that have already been shipped cannot be canceled and the customer is responsible for shipping costs to send the item back. A 3% cancellation fee will be applied to cover all merchant fees charged to us on all orders.

Refund Policy

To be eligible for a refund, you must return the product within 30 calendar days of your purchase. The product must be in the same condition that you receive it and undamaged in any way. Your order number and the original packaging are required for all returns and exchanges. Home with Heart Design must approve all returns. Please contact us at orders@homewithheartdesign.com to request a refund and before sending a return.

After we receive your item, we will inspect it and process your refund. The money will be refunded to the original payment method you used during the purchase. For credit card payments it may take 5 to 10 business days for a refund to show up on your credit card statement. You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are nonrefundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.

If the product is damaged in any way, or you have initiated the return after 30 calendar days have passed, you will not be eligible for a refund. No returns will be accepted on orders purchased over 30 days.  We do not accept returns on Sale or Clearance items.

Returns

Home with Heart Design must approve all returns. Please contact us at orders@homewithheartdesign.com before sending a return. Your order number and the original packaging are required for all returns. After we receive your item, we will inspect it and process your refund. The money will be refunded to the original payment method you used during the purchase within 5-10 business days after receiving the return. 

You must return the unused item within 30 days for a 100% refund back to your method of payment less 5% restocking fee. No returns will be accepted on orders purchased over 30 days.  We do not accept returns on Sale or Clearance items. You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are nonrefundable. For credit card payments it may take 5 to 10 business days for a refund to show up on your credit card statement. 

We recommend using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance, because Home with Heart Design cannot guarantee that we will receive your returned item.

Lost or Stolen Items

If the package tracking information shows a delivered status, but is missing, you must report the lost package to us within 10 days. Once you have reported it to us, we will submit an inquiry with the carrier about the lost package and attempt to have it recovered. If the carrier declares the package to be a complete loss, we will reship your order to you at no charge if stock is available. We are not responsible for packages that are delivered to the wrong address due to an incorrect or incomplete shipping address provided by customer.
